Guess2Give

Fundraiser (or Eventer)
A user of the Guess2Give site who has set-up an Account and a fundraising page, and then actively promotes that page to their friends and family to help raise money for their nominated charity.
It is the responsibility of the Fundraiser to ensure that the result submitted for their event can be independently corroborated. When we say “independently corroborated” we mean corroborated by someone that isn’t a friend, family member or work colleague, who hasn’t participated in the pool itself and is prepared to make a signed statement. We may not accept a result until we have a signed statement of official result.
A ‘Fundraiser’ cannot Guess on their own event

Guesser
A user of the Guess2Give site that makes a guess (or guesses) on a Guess2Give fundraising page, successfully sets up and Account with Guess2Give and pays for the Guess or Guesses via our payment portal.
Guess2Give only accepts Guesses (bets) made online via Guess2Give.com.
Employees of Guess2Give (including employees’ friends & families), suppliers or any of its associated companies are not eligible to Guess on Guess2Give.

Winner
Guess2Give allows only one guess per result, except on a Special event. This means there can be only one winner of the prize fund.
The winner will be the person who Guesses on the exact result or the closest to that result. If the result falls equally between 2 guesses the lower of the 2 results will be declared the winner.

Winnings
50p for each guess goes in to an event prize fund so the total winnings will depend on the total number of guesses on that event.
Winnings must be claimed within 20 days of being notified. They will be credited to the winning Guessers bank account within 10 working days of the winner confirming their bank account details.

Special events
A Special event has been established by Guess2Give to help maximise the number of people who can participate, the amount of money that can be raised for charity and potentially the prize fund that could be won.
They can only be initiated via a special request to Guess2Give management.
Multiple guesses can be made on a single result in a special Guess2Give event. It’s important to note that the prize fund will be shared equally amongst everyone who selects the winning result.
The winner(s) will be the Guesser who guesses on the exact result or the closest that result. If the result s falls equally between 2 guesses the lower of the 2 results will be declared the winner(s).

DNF – Did Not Finish
If an eventer does not complete their event for any reason, or irregularities are established the event result will be classed as a DNF. All prize monies will be paid to the nominated charity.
